Collectible cars to be auctioned during antique festival
Collector cars will be auctioned July 21 during the Michigan Antique and Collectible Festival.
A representative of the Indiana-based auction company said he expects 130 to 150 cars to be offered for sale in the Gerstacker Fair Center building on the Midland County Fairgrounds.
Perhaps there’ll be more.
“I’d like to see 200,” said Randy Collins, auction coordinator for Kruse International.
Car prices at the Midland sale could range from $5,000 to more than $100,000, and the auction could last from the planned 10 a.m. start to perhaps 7 p.m., Collins said.
He described his employer as the world’s largest collector car auction company. Other divisions sell real estate and oilfield equipment.
Kruse is publicizing the auction on its website, which gets 250,000 hits daily, Collins said.
