RM Auctions to commemorate its recent appointment as official auction house of the Antique Automobile Club of America with a no-reserve sale of rare and un-restored automobiles from the estate collection of Helen Swigart at the historic Hershey Lodge – October 11 & 12, 2007, Hershey, PA
Newly appointed as the official auction house of the Antique Automobile Club of America, North American based RM Auctions will host its inaugural “Vintage Motor Cars at Hershey” auction in conjunction with the annual AACA Hershey Fall Meet at the Hershey Lodge on Friday, October 12th and 13th, 2007.
The AACA’s annual Fall event held in the club’s hometown of historic Hershey, Pennsylvania is one of the largest and oldest antique automobile shows and flea markets in America making its debut in 1955. Adding to the exciting weekend, RM Auctions will conduct an inaugural auction featuring 60 rare and un-restored motor cars from the estate of Helen Swigart, offered without reserve. This selection places a particular focus on early automobiles, as 22 of the vehicles being offered were built in 1910 or earlier and feature such famous American marques as Autocar, Buick, Cadillac, Ford, Oldsmobile, Locomobile, Packard, Reo, Stanley Brothers and Winton
